The frame of these "Donna" glasses combines three different style aspects: the cat eye look from the 1950's, the frame size from the 1980's, and a strikingly modern ensemble of colors. Really the best of three worlds. A touch of mystery.is added by the tinted, so called "dégradé" lenses. Small wonder that these glasses have been a favorite among many models on the continent. They can be seen in a video clip that registered the first round of the catwalk at the opening of my first exhibition of portrait photography in 2009 (see You Tube Lentilux). I decided to bring the glasses to Ireland with Sohaila in mind. She looks absolutely stunning in the "Donna" pair. Let's call this portrait "the best of four worlds"....
