The stranger did not reply as he was looking for superlatives.
"How strong did you say these glasses are? Minus eight again?"
"Yes, minus eight, but the next pair is much stronger"
"It would be handy if my eyes could adapt themselves to your glasses when I put
them up. Of course only if I regain my own prescription directly when I put the
glasses back in the box"
"Yes, that would be convenient but alas, it does not work that way anymore"
