Claudia put off the cat eye glasses and checked the contents of both boxes. 

"Hey, this looks like a weird pair. What are these?"

"Ah, they are special, very special. They are called myodiscs with frosted lenses.

They come from China and they are called Depai"

"They look incredibly strong. I have never seen anything like it. Can I try them on?"

"Yes, you can, but please handle them with care and put them off straightaway

if they make you feel uneasy"

"I will. Please tell me how I look in them"

Claudia carefully put up the myodiscs. The stranger observed her closely.

"You look like a different person, Claudia. Magic, but not like your good self"

"It's fascinating. I am really blind as a bat now. It's reassuring that can hear your

voice". Then she shivered. The stranger noticed that her face became very pale.

"I think you'd better take off the glasses, Claudia"

 Claudia removed the glasses with a sigh of relief. "I think I will choose another pair

if that's allright with you. Please tell me how strong they are before I put them on" 

"I will do that, Claudia"
