Like Rodenstock, Lamy sometimes gave girl's names to their glasses. Here the twins are posing in identical Lamy frames, the only difference being the discrete color of the upper rim of the frames. The "Christel" series was a success for Lamy and my collection hosts three of these glasses. Again it's Nathalie who has to bridge a gap of two diopters as the varifocals have a mild "plus" for long distance. Kimberley wears a pair with lenses that are about one diopter above her prescription but she had no problem with the difference. Long live the flexible eyes of youth!
