This blog is dedicated to ladies in glasses. The vast majority of the portraits on this blog feature ladies wearing glasses near their own Rx. I felt that this would give a more natural flavour to the pictures and also a more natural setting for the photo shoots from which the pictures on this blog are selected. Nearly all the glasses featured in this blog are from my own collection.

Nathalie & Kimberley 108
Identical twins posing in yet another couple of identical Rodenstock glasses from the mid 1980's. Nathalie (left) is wearing a pair fitted with lenses some two diopters above her own prescription. These glasses were used in my previous photo shoots with Astrid (316), Karen (198) and Margriet (181). Kimberley is wearing a pair of bifocals with a highly unusual prescription. The right lens is 5.50 diopters stronger than the left lens and on top of that, both lenses have a strong astygmatism of -5.00. The axis of these strong cylinders is vertical (close to 0 or if you wish, 180 degrees) and this influences the shape of her eyes in these portraits.
