This blog is dedicated to ladies in glasses. The vast majority of the portraits on this blog feature ladies wearing glasses near their own Rx. I felt that this would give a more natural flavour to the pictures and also a more natural setting for the photo shoots from which the pictures on this blog are selected. Nearly all the glasses featured in this blog are from my own collection.

Nathalie & Kimberley 105
The difference in the size of the eyes is caused by the different prescription lenses in the Rodenstock glasses. Nathalie (left) is posing in glasses with a very mild Rx of minus one, quite close to her own prescription. Kimberley is wearing glasses with a prescription of minus four. The 2.50 diopter gap between the lenses and the model's own prescription can be more difficult to handle than say a gap of 8.00 because accommodation is still an option sent by the brain to the eyes. Fortunately, Kimberley did not seem to be bothered by the difference. Neither of the girls experienced eye fatigue in the days after their photo shoot. I work quite fast and each pair of glasses only rests on the model's nose for about one minute.
