The identical twins are freelance models with a dozen photo shoots under their belt. They seemed a bit surprised when I explained that an occasional smile would enhance the outcome. Photo shoots tend to be serious business and often the expression on the model's face is almost grim. My approach has been different from the start of the project. Generally I prefer models showing their own individuality, almost in a setting "behind the screens" - or even better, in real life. The prescription glasses transform the models anyway and except for the occasional shoot with an additional theme (e.g. "Claudia Allegonda and the magic glasses") there is no need to take the experiment a step further. The journey of the model's face through time and diopters is often epic in its own right. It's nice to see the smiles produced by the twins.
