Glasses: Christian Dior, mid / late 1970's

This is one of my favorites from this photo shoot. Great posing by Marike in a classic pair of Christian Dior glasses made around 1976. Dior took the stage by storm when they started designing and manufacturing glasses and this pair belongs to the first Dior generation. I was working in Switzerland in 1974, 1975 and 1976. Frame choice in Switzerland was rather conservative in 1974 - compared with Dutch standards - but the next year it started to change. When I came back in 1976 it was amazing to see streets full of beautiful young Swiss ladies sporting these expensive Christian Dior glasses. Thank you, Marike, for bringing back these sweet memories!
