My classmate Elisa did not like these glasses because she had to wear glasses because of her rather mild myopia. Her aversion may have faded over the years. Many ladies only come to appreciate - or at least accept - their glasses later in life. Marike always wears glasses and she is an expert in making the right frame choice. She knows exactly which frames suit her style and this came handy when we did the selection of glasses for her photo shoot. These French glasses from the late 1960's were among her favorites and quite justifiably so.
