These French glasses first caught my attention in 1967 at school where one of my classmates appeared in them. Poor Elisa hated glasses and no favorable comment on her frame choice could make her change her mind. She only put up the glasses when it was absolutely necessary. A pity! Two decades later I discovered these glasses at the "Waterlooplein" flea market and recognized them straightaway. It's most unlikely that these were Elisa's glasses. The prescription is stronger and the lenses are tinted. Anyway, I bought the glasses because of the memory from my schooldays.
