These "Flirt" glasses first got my attention when my late brother and I started playing in our first Irish ballad group in 1970. Rehearsals were often done in the hospitable home of the three other brothers in the band. Their mother put on a pair of glasses when it was time to watch television. The frame was identical to the "Flirt" glasses shown here by Marike except for the frame color which was orange. Opticians were rather strict in their advice to the customer. Brown frames were for brunettes and orange frames were for blondes.
