Myodiscs like these are known for their peculiar effect of doubling
the image of the eyelid, but here the effect is even more complicated.
Between the minified image of the -25 "bowl" and the positive carrier
lens, a third image can be seen. This is caused by two tiny segments
at the back of the lens. It's a pity that the lenses have no anti-reflective
coating
