Cat eye glasses enjoy a minor wave of popularity in optician's shops and also sporadically in the streets. These tortoise shell glasses are another fine example with the way Zenni zooms in on the latest trends in eyewear fashion, adding a twist of their own to the design. I acquired these glasses in the winter of 2010 / 2011 and they are featured in many photo shoots on this weblog. For comparison I here mention the models and the number of their first portrait in these glasses: Karen (325), Jolien (250), Marieke (225), and freelance models Leonne (045), Connie (132), Christien (103 and 181), Bianca (118), Douce (065), Melissa (140) and Claudia Allegonda (028). All models were keen to pose in these tortoise cat eye glasses so why not bring them over to Ireland? Osi decided that she liked them and I can only say that she was absolutely right. The following series belongs to the highlights of her glorious photo shoot in the gardens of the King's Inn. I like the touch of melancholy in this portrait. Again, the eye contact here is superb.
