In the late 1970's, this rather novice uilleann piper made the journey to Miltown Malbay, Co. Clare, Ireland for attending the lately established Willie Clancy Summer School. My life partner Mia and I enjoyed a week in the hospitable B&B of an elderly couple. The B&B lady was called Kitty and she liked a tune or two (or ten, or umpteen) in her kitchen so the house was always full (to be continued).
