When I came across these beautiful Givenchy glasses at the Amsterdam
flea market, I recognized them straightaway. When I started studying
physical geography at the university, one of my class mates was a young
lady called Irene. She had been working as a secretary for a year or two
before going to the university and this was visible in her rather conservative
choice of eyewear. Some years later she surprised us all when she showed
up in new glasses - the very same frame shown here by Melissa but in an
orange-brown colour. I paid her a huge compliment and she said that she
would marry with a dentist soon. Glasses stories are life stories....
