Glamour glasses by Givenchy, acquired at the "Waterlooplein" flea
market (Amsterdam) in the 1980's for a few coppers. It's a pity for
their first owners that glasses lose so much of their value in a short time,
but it's a blessing for avid collectors. Needless to say, the value loss
has to do with the unicity of prescription glasses. Even in my collection
of some 2000 glasses, not a single pair was identical to Melissa's mild
prescription.
