This blog is dedicated to ladies in glasses. The vast majority of the portraits on this blog feature ladies wearing glasses near their own Rx. I felt that this would give a more natural flavour to the pictures and also a more natural setting for the photo shoots from which the pictures on this blog are selected. Nearly all the glasses featured in this blog are from my own collection.

Mother and daughter 030 - 032
There is much less glare in these classic Nylor glasses than there is in most glasses from the early 1960's. My guess is that Peter's mother ordered new lenses at a later stage. The Rx is exactly the same as the Louis Jouret glasses from the 1980's and it's highly unlikely that her prescription remained identical for over two decades. Anti-reflective coating became widely available near the end of the 1970's. Hat off for Esther and her lovely, spontaneous posing. She enjoys perfect eyesight but there is no way of telling that these are not her own glasses. It's always a wonderful experience to see a model get into her stride, somewhere during the first half hour of a photo shoot. Great!
