Doreen 006

Excellent posing by Doreen and a bit of nostalgia added by editing her portrait in the style of the 1930's. There were no contact lenses in those days so anyone with fairly strong myopia was wearing glasses. The famous American writer Dorothy Parker (1893 - 1967) was quite shortsighted but she refused to wear her glasses in public. One of her famous quotes was: "Men seldom make passes at girls in glasses".
Here Doreen is giving evidence that even long before becoming a fashion statement, glasses could indeed add a lovely touch to the face of a good looking lady. With due respect, Dorothy Parker was wrong!
