This photo was take in early August, some days after my photo shoot with Daisy. Nel and I decided to spend a day in Brugge (Belgium) which is like an open air museum now. I like a bit of quiet and just after being freed from most of the tourist crowd we discovered a jewel of an optician's shop. Dame Edna's were nothing compared to the extravagant cat eye glasses we saw in the shop window. Nel is never backward in being forward so she suggested that we might take a wee peep inside. The shop owner allowed her to try some of the frames and she even produced this amazing piece of "myodisc" plastic so that Nel could see at least something through one of the frames that caught her fancy. I was allowed to take a few pictures of Nel trying the glasses and this photo was deemed to be anonymous enough to be posted here. The metal frame was exactly to Nel's liking, a touch of cat eye combined with crazy blue dots attached to it.
