During my photo shoots I always give the models some background information about the glasses they are trying on. One of last year's models (Lucy) sometimes calls me "the walking wikipedia" :). When Daisy heard the story about the thick lens edges of the rimless glasses from the 1970's she commented that she was happy to live in 2012. Back the late seventies "everyone was in the same boat", so to speak, and lens thickness was much less of an issue than it is nowadays. Here Daisy is posing in vintage rimless glasses with minus five lenses (one diopter above her own prescription) and even these lenses are nine millimeters thick at the edges. Times were when....
