These Quadrette glasses by Neostyle were featured in many of my previous photo shoots in Holland. Just like the "Toxy" Rodenstock glasses shown by Grazyna in her first portrait they stand for a certain moment in the history of eyewear. I clearly remember an advertisement in the Dutch newspapers in 1972, showing models who "proved" that cat eye glasses were definitely out and modern big frames like this Quadrette were in. Four decades later it's reassuring to see that glasses from many decades suit a lady's face equally well. Long live the whims of fashion!
