Melissa lives in the west of our country so it was convenient to do the
photo shoot in the garden of my partner Nel. It had the advantage that
we could pick and choose from Nel's collection of hats whenever a
particular pair of glasses called for a hat. The huge Napolitan hat adds
extra glamour to Melissa's portraits in the Givenchy glasses.
By the way, the Irene in the story only had a mild prescription just like
Melissa and she only produced her glasses when attending lectures.
But she went fulltime after buying the Givenchy glasses....
