Face à main were highly popular between 1880 and 1910.
They turn up in bric à brac and antique shops but nearly
always as readers. This face à main with Rx -7 is a notable
exception. Another face à main, equipped with bifocal lenses,
was used to great effect in my photo shoot with Charlotte.
