This blog is dedicated to ladies in glasses. The vast majority of the portraits on this blog feature ladies wearing glasses near their own Rx. I felt that this would give a more natural flavour to the pictures and also a more natural setting for the photo shoots from which the pictures on this blog are selected. Nearly all the glasses featured in this blog are from my own collection.

Daisy 039
Nearly all the "Maya" Rodenstock glasses in my collection were shown during my earlier photo shoots and the results varied. The frame is rather small and compact, which limits the choice of vantage points. There is also the problem of the absence of anti-reflective coating on the lenses. More important, the frame tends to "lock up" the features of many models. No such problem here with Daisy. It's all a matter of proportions, colour versus complexion, and above all a quality that defies description. All I can say is that the "Maya" frames suit her well, especially the orange version shown here. The frame is in bad shape. A part of one of the arms is broken and the material is quite sensitive to sunlight, so this may be the last opportunity to see the glasses. Thank you, Daisy, for choosing them!
