Daisy 036

Back in the mid 1960's opticians had more say in the matter when it came to frame choice than they have nowadays. The "Maya" glasses by Rodenstock were available in black, in orange and in the brownish colour shown here by Daisy. Orange was for blondes, brown or black for brunettes. But what about red haired ladies? Their numbers were fewer anyway.... All I can say is that the colour blend in these portraits looks great, almost half a century after the glasses were made. The same goes for Daisy's posing.
