Glasses by Alain Mikli are always special. Their design
is never mainstream. My ex-wife had two pairs by Mikli
in the mid 1980's, one of which was not unlike the pair
shown here to great effect by Douce. The frame was kindly
given to me by a Swiss optician who had been unable to
sell them. By the way, the lenses have nothing to do with the
frame. I squeezed them in to produce a special effect now
called "floating" lenses.
