Another fine portrait of Douce showing the mighty power
rings in très chique Christian Dior glasses made some 30
years ago. I bought the glasses at the "Waterlooplein" flea
market in Amsterdam in the late 1980's. The lenses are ten
millimeters thick but this is neatly concealed by the way the
frame folds back. Many glasses of the 1970's and 1980's
were designed with higher myopes in mind.
