The cat eye era marked the start of glasses as a fashion
element. It lasted from the mid 1950's till the early 1960's.
This pair by Minerva is from the final years of the cat eye
era. I bought them at the famous "Waterlooplein" flea market
in Amsterdam, some thirty years ago.
