Christien mentioned during one of the breaks in her three
hour photo shoot that her Rx (-7.00 / -6.50) is considered
"strong" by her friends. This may be correct in terms of
dependency in everyday life, but somehow these portraits
in skightly stronger Zenni glasses don't seem strong to me.
In fact, all the lenses do is minifying the eyes by about 2%
per diopter. Here the minification is about 16% and the
ovarall effect is that the model's lips come a bit more to the
foreground. Yet Christien's eyes receive their share of attention
because of her well chosen make up - and needless to say, a
well chosen frame is like a pair of beautiful shop windows
praising the beauty of her eyes.
Who cares if her Rx is strong. More power to her lenses! She proves how beautiful myopic ladies are in their glasses. For me it is a wonderful Rx.
