This is my favourite portrait of Christien in the wonderful

series in 1966 glasses by Metzler. I can't think of a better

promotion picture for opticians at that time. Noone had

heard of Christien in those days, but perhaps some chain

will notice the quality of her posing and even consider using

the model's own prescription in the lenses instead of planos

or worse, empty frames. The Rx of the lenses give an added

value to portraits of ladies in glasses and -6.50 is a very

photogenic strength. By the way, Christien favours black

glasses so there was no discussion about the selection of

this Metzler pair. Thank you, Christien, for reacting on my
