Another fine portrait of Sohaila in rimless glasses from the late 1970's, showing the intricate play of the light in the faceted sides of the thick lenses. This was never shown by photos in the shop windows of opticians. Another opportunity missed. I never understood why opticians only show half the product they are trying to sell. My portrait photography of "Ladies behind crystal veil" is an attempt to show the total effect that a well chosen pair of prescription glasses can have on the lady who wears them.
