The lenses in these "Agatha Christie" bifocals are above plus five and they only show the model's eyes when captured almost "en face". Note the circular reading segments which were popular in the Netherlands during the 1970's. They were even more popular in the UK where cat eye frames could be seen in the streets until the 1990's. I am not entirely sure whether these cat eye glasses are really half a century old. But the style is definitely what was seen in the streets when I was a child. Young and innocent days....
