Extreme posing by Daisy upon my request - the tinted lenses did not work well from more obvious vantage points. These "Donna" glasses were used to great effect by model Brigitta during the catwalk at the opening of my first exhibition in Enschede, two years ago. There is a touch of the cat eye look in the frame. Some opticians now have real cat eye frames in their shop windows and I even saw cat eye glasses in the streets on a couple of occasions. A few days after Daisy's photo shoot, Nel and I paid a visit to Brugge and we stopped to admire some really extravagant frames in an optician's shop. Never backward in being forward, Nel suggested that she would like to try some of those incredible frames. Dame Edna was a grey mouse compared to what we saw. When testing the frames, Nel requested that I would take some pictures of her - at minus 12 there is no way of telling whether the frames suit her or not. The optician was flabbergasted but she allowed us to take some pictures. But that's meat for another day and another story....
