Even glasses with a modest prescription give added value to portraits when the effects of minification are used and here is a fine example. I never understood why opticians and manufacturers of glasses use empty frames or glasses with plano lenses in their promotion photography. They only show half the product they are trying to sell. This was one of my motives for starting the "Ladies behind crystal veil" photography project after meeting my life partner Nel in 2008. Needless to say, another motive was to show the beauty of vintage prescription glasses from my collection, shown by gorgeous models like Daisy.
