Retro style allright but with a twist.... Great posing by

Claudine in what I consider a surprising match. The oval

shape of the frame is compensated by the striking upper

rim and somehow the ensemble works - "I don't know how

but it works". This phrase is a borrowing from the late Dan

O"Dowd (1903 - 1989), a much respected maker of

uilleann pipes and even more important, their software

(reeds). Dan's quote - I was asking for his help during a

reed making workshop and he asked me to take out the

reed of the tenor regulator. The reed looked "impossible"

but it worked great in the regulator - much the same way
