Claudine 008

When I suggested to Claudine to do a photo shoot in
glasses from my collection, she told me that optician's
shops usually only have one or two frames that are more
or less suitable for a narrow face. I was happy that she
took up the challenge and accepted my invitation. For
this specialist photo shoot I dug up a number of frames
that match with a PD of 55 and this pair by Cobra was
one of them. Glasses with high, narrow frames were not
all that rare during the 1970's and 1980's when so much
experimentation with unusual frame shapes was done.
The Rx of the lenses in these Cobra glasses provide an
almost perfect match with the model's own prescription.
The glasses were a discovery at the inexhaustible flea market
"Waterlooplein" in the late 1980's. They were also featured
in my photo shoots with Brigitta and Margriet (first weblog).
