Shortly after "nine eleven" I travelled back from
Wales to Holland with a suitcase full of glasses
including these. The X ray alarmed the customs
people and I was forced to open the suitcase with
a rifle pointed at me. You should have seen their
faces when they saw the glasses.... My invitation
to try some of the glasses was declined with a smile
so Karen has the honour of being the first to pose
in these "Sophie" glasses.
