Here Doreen is checking her looks in the mirror through the reading segments of the Arco glasses. This was a request from my side. A photo shoot as "Lady behind Crystal Veil" is not just about the history of frames but also about the history and the effect of prescription lenses. The left lens in these Arco glasses is a touch stronger than the model's own prescription so looking through the reading segments was more comfortable. Nowadays, lined bifocals are only used by elderly people who can't get used to progressives. It's always an amusing experiment for my models to see the effect of the lenses in lined bifocals.
