These York glasses from the late 1980's were recently presented to me by my good neighbour Joke. The lenses indicate that the first owner of the glasses was a lady in her late forties or early fifties who had almost perfect eyesight for long distance. Glasses with progressive transition lenses are an ideal solution for a lady when she dislikes to carry two pairs of readers in her handbag. Call it an all in one solution. The York glasses with their minimal prescription were quite comfortable for Osi and she produced a lovely series of portraits with gorgeous posing.
