Blended myodiscs (also called Lentilux or Superlenti) were a great invention from the early 1980's. My collection hosts half a dozen of these ultra rare glasses and I always request that the models pose in some of these glasses because of the highly unusual effects created by the lenses. The position of the central "bowls" with the correction for extreme myopia can be recognized by the dark shades. By contrast, the surrounding positive carrier lenses catch all the light. This effect comes forward especially in night photography. Thank you, Grazyna, for your kind cooperation in this experiment!
