This blog is dedicated to ladies in glasses. The vast majority of the portraits on this blog feature ladies wearing glasses near their own Rx. I felt that this would give a more natural flavour to the pictures and also a more natural setting for the photo shoots from which the pictures on this blog are selected. Nearly all the glasses featured in this blog are from my own collection.

Nathalie & Kimberley 079
Another fine example of the identical twins posing in identical frames. These were among the most popular glasses made by Silhouette in the mid 1980's. The frame came in at least three different colors. Earlier on in their photo shoot (032-035), the twins posed in a blue and a green example of these frames, fitted with a rather high plus prescription. Here are the same frames in a pale beige color. Nathalie (left) is wearing bifocals made for a longsighted lady in her sixties. Kimberley (right) is posing in a pair made for a myopic lady. Both glasses were only used in one previous photo shoot. The bifocals can be seen in my photo shoot with freelance model Bianca and the other pair was shown to great effect in an early photo shoot with another distinguished model called Carla. Here the twins are showing the magnificent glasses that Silhouette made before they switched to rimless frames.
