Another fine, nostalgic portrait of Marike posing in Viennaline glasses made in the early sixties, just before Beatlemania took over. The new wave in popular music coincided with drastic changes in fashion and within a year the cat eye era was finished. These glasses mark the transition phase from the cat eye era to frames like "Maya" Rodenstock that became quite popular until the arrival of the big frames in 1968.
