Glasses from a box, opus three....
The lady who gave me her glasses used this
early pair by Silhouette from 1972 until 1976.
Just like her previous "Toxy" Rodenstock glasses
this was a remarkable choice for a blonde at the
time. There were certain thumb rules about
frame choice and opticians had more influence
on the choice by their young clients than they
have now. Black, brown and silver were for
brunettes. Orange and gold were for blondes.
